• Role of histamine in tumor promotion
• Interaction of histamine and the cytokine network
• Histamine and the cell adhesion molecules

Research areas:

• 1994 - 2003 Histamine metabolism (histidine-decarboxylase, diamine-oxidase, histamine-N-methyltransferases) in human tumors (methods: Western blot, RT-PCR, enzyme activity)
  Interaction of histamine and cytokine network in the tumor promotion and in precancerous stages (metods: immunhistochemistry, FACS, Elisa)
  Immunohistochemical detection of HDC protein and its activity in tumor samples moreover examination of its possible usefullness in tumor prognosis. (metods: immunhistochemistry) 
• 1975 - 1994 Phylo- and ontogeny of hormone receptors on unicellular model Tetrahymena pyriformis
